Where's Dougall gone then?

by workandbooks @ 04. Jul 2008 - 09:42:07 pm

I don't understand Blog.co.uk's featured blogs. How do people get on there?

eg. http://dougall.blog.co.uk/

This is currently a featured blog. I found it quite interesting cos I'm in to all stuff Web 2 - it interests me. However, when I'd finished reading the various posts I noticed the last post on the blog was in January 06. Hardly surprising as the poor bloke never received a single comment on any of his posts, which you would be pretty miffed at after all that hard work writing informative and interesting stuff. Who can blame him for coming to the conclusion that he's wasting his time?

But why has something old and obviously abandoned been placed on 'Featured Blogs'. Very odd, cos now I'm left wanting more and he's buggered off.

Oh, OK. Well anyway cos you left a comment here I've now spent ages reading your blog, which, along with the comments, has certainly cheered up my evening. :))

Thank you! I think that nearly doubles the number of readers...

I've invited Dougall to be my friend, just to see what happens.

 Good idea. Let's see if the promise of fame and fortune lures him back! :)

Except for a favoured few.
